Description of the position

As an Accounting & Tax Reporting consultant, you are the first point of contact for our clients. You are their trusted advisor and will, together with your colleagues, guide them through the fast-changing landscape of accountancy/tax legislation and financial processes where digitalisation is key.

You’ll be responsible for your portfolio of internal or external clients. For internal clients, you will take care of their financial administration, processing invoices, etc., and tackle questions about preparing their annual accounts. For external clients, you will act as an intermediate sounding board, answering questions about topics which require expertise, and prepare their annual accounts.

How will you grow?

  • Through your work with our diverse client base, you’ll develop your confidence and understanding of the critical importance of reporting.
  • Gradually, you’ll deal with more financial-strategic challenges, like managing mergers and acquisitions, succession planning…
  • Building your experience and confidence in the tools and techniques, you’ll be assigned to more advisory projects as an accountant-tax consultant.
  • Eventually, you’ll become a trusted business advisor to our clients.

Who are you?

  • You understand that business insights gained from financial reporting drive better decision making.
  • You have the analytical ability and problem solving aptitude to provide these insights.
  • You’re comfortable with change and embrace working with family businesses, growth companies, start-ups, and multinational companies.
  • You can work solo but also enjoy a healthy dose of team spirit.
  • You have a master or bachelor’s degree in economics, accountancy or another financial orientation.
  • You are fluent in Dutch or French and English
