Your journey with us
Our Central Finance team manages all internal and external finance related matters including credit control, accounts payable & cash management, statutory accounting and financial controlling.
As a Central Finance Controller you will join the controlling team and act as a Finance Business Partner for the Central IT department and for the different Business Units. You will be involved in the analysis and supervision of IT direct cost, revenue and WIP.

This includes the following responsibilities:
  • Ensure accurate and timely monthly closing of the management accounts as a basis for budget to actual variance analysis
  • Analyze, understand and present monthly variances to the controlling manager & director 
  • Challenge the Central IT department during the financial budget process and the budget to actual variance analysis to identify potential savings/overruns
  • Work closely with the SPOC of the Central IT department in monitoring the direct cost (local, NSE and global costs) and their financial budget process by having a good understanding of the different IT projects & IT costs 
  • Work closely with the Business Controllers of the different Business Units in reviewing and consolidating the revenue & WIP
  • Assist in maintaining & improving the dashboards used to perform the monthly closing activities 
  • Identify and help implement optimizations to increase efficiencies and automation in our day-to-day processes
  • Support in ad-hoc analysis of business issues
Let's talk about you
  • You have 3 to 5 years experience with a good knowledge of financial controlling;
  • You have a master degree in Finance/Economics or equivalent by experience;
  • You are forward-thinking, committed to find solutions and eager to improve processes;
  • You have strong analytical skills and an accurate mind-set;
  • You are well-organized with the ability to prioritize;
  • You are able to carry out tasks autonomously and collaboratively; 
  • You have excellent written and interpersonal communication skills;
  • You are fluent in English, knowledge of Dutch or French is an asset;
  • You are tech-savvy and have advanced knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel), experience with SAP S/4 and knowledge of IT systems/tools is an asset.
