The CoE Learning & Leadership development is a strategic hub providing deep subject matter expertise in Learning, Onboarding, and Leadership Development. We are responsible for designing, evaluating, and monitoring the tools, frameworks, policies, programs, and processes that shape Deloitte’s Talent Development and Onboarding experience. 

As trusted advisors, we work closely with the business, applying our expertise to deliver evidence-based, high-quality, and efficient solutions. A key strength of our CoE lies in the collaborative spirit within the team, where we work closely together on initiatives, combining diverse perspectives and skills to maximize impact.  The Learning Advisor is a strategic, creative learning professional and trusted advisor within the Centre of Expertise (CoE) for Learning, Onboarding, and Leadership Development. This role combines expert thought leadership with hands-on delivery of projects and initiatives, translating organizational learning needs into impactful, blended learning solutions.

The Learning Advisor works collaboratively across the organization to design learning strategies, lead initiatives, and drive continuous improvement—ultimately supporting organizational transformation and strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Advisory & Thought Leadership
  • Provide expert advice and thought leadership in Learning, Onboarding, and Leadership Development domains
  • Act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders, supporting organizational transformation and strategic goals through learning
  • Monitor learning trends and emerging technologies to keep the organization at the forefront of innovation
  • Contribute to the development of organizational learning standards, frameworks, policies, and toolkits
  • Promote a learning mindset that reflects our "lifelong learning" ethos
Learning Design & Solution Development
  • Design and develop impactful, blended learning solutions
  • Act as a curriculum architect: curating and designing learning paths for key roles, career phases, and talent pipelines
  • Partner with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to understand capability requirements and translate them into effective solutions
  • Ensure timely and effective delivery of CoE initiatives
Stakeholder Engagement & Relationship Building
  • Act as an internal consultant to business and HR teams: advise on learning strategy, delivery models, and performance impact
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate learning impact effectively
  • Build relationships across the organization to identify emerging learning needs
  • Maintain partnerships with external training vendors and educational institutions
Measurement, Evaluation & Continuous Improvement
  • Evaluate learning effectiveness, demonstrating ROI and impact
  • Analyse data and employee feedback to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Report on learning metrics and program outcomes to leadership
Knowledge Sharing & Community Building
  • Share knowledge and insights with the broader Learning community and CoE
  • Mentor junior learning professionals and support team capability building 
Let's talk about you 
  • Has a minimum of 5 years experience in learning & development, instructional design, or talent development roles
  • Is energized by solving complex organizational challenges through learning
  • Combines strong learning solution insights with pragmatic business thinking
  • Holds expertise on adult learning principles, instructional/curriculum design, and learning delivery and evaluation models
  • Stays abreast of current best practices and regulatory requirements
  • Can tell a compelling story, demonstrating excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Works collaboratively and builds strong cross-functional relationships
  • Adapts flexibly to diverse audiences and changing contexts
  • Shows curiosity about emerging learning methodologies and technologies
  • Is results-oriented and can interpret data and employee feedback to drive actionable insights
