Our Mobility Tax Operate Team excels in Belgian individual tax and offers peace of mind to HR teams by ensuring compliant set-ups from a Belgian perspective even in an international context. They’re there to support employees in navigating tax returns and related filings, while always working closely with payroll, immigration, and reward teams.

We are currently looking for a Manager to reinforce our Mobility Tax Operate team: 

  • You establish close relationships with your clients' stakeholders, such as payroll, global mobility, and human resources services, as well as with the employees for whom we provide services. You are their point of contact for all aspects of personal income tax compliance in Belgium and related services.
  • You ensure service delivery to clients in accordance with Deloitte quality standards.
  • You perform high-quality standard and non-standard tax calculations, tax returns, tax equalization, and other tax compliance work in accordance with Belgian legislation and the requirements of various clients.
  • You plan and execute projects in accordance with client specifications, agreed contracts, and within planned timelines while adhering to Deloitte's highest quality standards and customer service terms.
  • You are the first point of contact between the client, the Deloitte network, and the project team.
  • You provide accurate resource forecasts and rapid visibility on potential risks and preventive measures throughout the project.
  • In collaboration with our client manager, you manage all aspects of the project throughout its lifecycle, including procurement, contractual and commercial matters, client relationships, quality assurance, stakeholder management, etc.
  • You contribute to business development activities by planning and executing targeted actions and "Eminence Program" initiatives (seminar facilitation, brochure development, articles, roadshows, etc.).
  • You develop high-performing people and teams through stimulating opportunities and meaningful challenges.
Let's talk about you

  • You hold a Master's degree in (applied) economics, business sciences, or a Bachelor's degree in accounting/taxation or equivalent. An additional qualification in taxation is an asset.
  • You have 6 to 8 years of experience in a similar role.
  • You have a sense of precision, results orientation, excellent digital skills, and you can work with figures using analytical reasoning.
  • You have teamwork spirit, leadership sense, commitment, and project management and facilitation skills.
  • You are customer service-oriented and capable of proactively managing client expectations.
  • You have a practical approach and are enthusiastic, flexible, and positive.
  • You speak French and English fluently. Knowledge of Dutch is an asset.
