The Product Owner for M365, Collaboration Platforms and Business Applications is the single point of contact, subject matter expert, and strategic custodian for Deloitte Belgium's productivity and collaboration toolset. This role drives end-to-end ownership of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem — including Teams, SharePoint, Copilot, and the full M365 suite — together with key business applications such as Zoom, DocuSign, and iManage.

Operating at the intersection of technology and business enablement, the Product Owner leads the Community of Practice (CoP) for M365 across Deloitte's Global network, governs product roadmaps, oversees business implementation programmes, and ensures the adoption and governance of all platforms align with firm strategy, and Deloitte Global standards.

Key Responsibilities

1.  Product Ownership & Roadmap Governance
  • Act as the single accountable owner for all M365 products (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Copilot for M365, Viva, Power Platform, and adjacent services) and designated business applications (Zoom, Miro, DocuSign, iManage).
  • Define, maintain, and communicate multi-year product roadmaps aligned to Deloitte Belgium IT strategy and Deloitte Global M365 direction.
  • Define, obtain and own product KPIs (adoption %, user satisfaction); conduct regular reviews with stakeholders
  • Prioritise and manage the product backlog, balancing business demand, licensing economics, and platform capability releases.
  • Translate business requirements into user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria; own the delivery pipeline from ideation through to value realisation.
  • Track and evaluate Microsoft release cycles, licensing changes, and emerging M365 capabilities; provide timely guidance on adoption readiness.
2.  Community of Practice Leadership
  • Establish, chair, and continuously develop the Knowledge Management (M365) Community of Practice, creating a network of champions, power users, and SMEs across business units.
  • Facilitate regular CoP sessions, knowledge-sharing forums, and working groups to drive consistent adoption patterns and reduce shadow IT.
  • Represent Deloitte Belgium in Deloitte Global M365 governance bodies, steering committees, and vendor advisory groups as required.
  • Curate and publish best-practice guidance, self-service enablement materials, and training pathways for the M365 ecosystem.
3.  Business Implementation & Adoption
  • Lead end-to-end business implementation of new M365 capabilities, ensuring change management, user adoption plans, and communications are in place prior to every rollout.
  • Partner with the Head of Infrastructure & Platforms, Service Management, and business stakeholders to sequence deployments and manage interdependencies.
  • Define success metrics (adoption rates, usage analytics, satisfaction scores) and report progress to IT leadership on a regular cadence.
  • Drive implementation of Microsoft Copilot for M365 in alignment with the firm's compliance framework and IT governance policies.
4.  Subject Matter Expertise & Single Point of Contact
  • Serve as the definitive escalation point and trusted advisor for all M365 and business application queries from IT teams, business stakeholders, and the firm's leadership.
  • Maintain a deep technical and functional understanding of the full M365 stack; stay current with Microsoft's innovation cadence and translate that into actionable recommendations.
  • Own the vendor relationship for Zoom, Docusign and M365 licensing, working with Deloitte Global procurement and IT Procurement on renewals, add-ons, and contract negotiations.
  • Manage vendor relationships and SLAs; conduct periodic vendor performance reviews; escalate service issues and negotiate remediation
  • Provide subject matter expertise for iManage (document management), Zoom (enterprise conferencing), and DocuSign (e-signature), ensuring integration and governance across platforms.
5.  Governance, Security & Compliance
  • Define and enforce platform governance policies (data classification, DLP, retention, access control) for all owned products in collaboration with Security & Risk.
  • Ensure all products meet Deloitte Global security baselines, GDPR requirements, and EU AI Act obligations where AI-powered capabilities are deployed.
  • Support audit, risk, and compliance activities as required, providing product-level documentation and evidence.
  • Service Management: Align on support model, SLAs, and escalation procedures; partner on support ticket analysis to identify product improvements.
  • Security & Risk: Joint governance of compliance, data policies, and security baselines; ensure all products meet Deloitte Global security requirements.
  • Business Stakeholders & Leadership: Regular steering committee engagement; communicate roadmap, progress, and business impact.
  • Learning & Development: Partner on training design and delivery; measure training effectiveness.
  • IT Procurement: Collaborate on licensing negotiations, cost optimization, and vendor management.
Let's talk about you

Essential
  • 5+ years in a product ownership, platform management, or M365 administration role within a complex enterprise environment.
  • Experience managing product budgets and conducting ROI analysis
  • Proven track record of managing M365 roadmaps and delivering platform rollouts at scale, including Microsoft Teams and SharePoint.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft licensing models (E3/E5, Copilot add-ons, Viva, etc.) and the impact of licensing decisions on capability availability.
  • Experience building or leading a Community of Practice or similar cross-functional enablement network.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills; able to communicate complex platform decisions to non-technical business audiences.
  • Familiarity with agile/product delivery methodologies; experience managing a product backlog and sprint planning.
  • Working knowledge of data governance, information security, and compliance obligations relevant to cloud platforms (GDPR, ISO 27001).
Preferred
  • Microsoft Certified: Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert, or equivalent certification.
  • Hands-on experience with iManage Work, DocuSign CLM, or enterprise e-signature platforms.
  • Exposure to EU AI Act compliance requirements and responsible AI deployment in a corporate setting.
  • Exposure to ITSM frameworks (ITIL, IT4IT), ServiceNow and service ownership models.
