We are looking for a (Senior) Consultant to further reinforce the SAP Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) offering.

Apply your experiences in finance and industry foresight on critical client issues with CFOs and business executives.

As part of our Business Finance team, you support our client in a wide range of projects in various industries from strategy definition to implementation by:

  • Being an active team member in various client transformation projects, covering the full end-to-end, starting at the initial identification of the client’s problem statement and requirements, through to the final handover to the customer’s operational teams. 
  • Assisting our clients in their most complex transformations to new processes, new ways of working and new finance solutions. 
  • Performing development of accurate planning and forecasting models as well as creation of meaningful management reporting solutions in SAP EPM solutions 
  • Supporting the design and implementation of planning, budgeting, forecasting as well as management reporting and costing processes based on SAP solutions such as SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Datasphere and SAP BW for our clients. 
  • Working agile in a Deloitte team, in close collaboration with experts in areas such as advanced (advanced) Analytics, predictive modeling, Machine Learning, Robotics, AI, … 
  • Creating solution concepts and process designs with the help of modern approaches such as Design Thinking 
  • Guiding discussions with our clients and translate requirements into solutions. 
  • Performing implementation using modern, cloud-based solutions, in various functional areas and in all major industries 
  • Coaching and developing other team members, while being coached and developed by your peers and seniors. Participating in the business development side of our practice by participating in client proposals, roadmaps and delivering state-of-the-art sales demos Driving the in-house development of demos, proof of concepts and training material and other assets on different SAP EPM tools, on our own demo environments 
Let's talk about you

  • Minimum 3 years professional or consulting experience in design and implementation of Enterprise Performance Management solutions 
  • Proven knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), with experience in end-to-end projects  
  • Good understanding of modern planning-budgeting-forecasting, costing, and/or reporting processes  
  • Good knowledge of finance, (managerial) accounting and controlling, either through experience or education. 
  • Knowledge of project management principles, i.e. methodologies, typical structure, deliverables and approach of a Financial Planning project 
  • Creative and conscientious way of working as well as pronounced team orientation, with high analytical and conceptual thinking skills 
  • Very good presentation and communication skills in English, French and/or Dutch 
  • Dynamic and pro-active attitude, looking to learn and grow, open to coaching 

 

The following qualifications are considered as a plus: 


  • Knowledge of SAP Finance modules such as SAP Central Finance, SAP FI, SAP CO 
  • Knowledge of one or more other SAP solutions for planning & reporting such as: SAP BPC embedded (BPC 10.x, BPC 11, BPC Optimized for S/4HANA), SAP BPC Standard (BPC 10.x, BPC 11), SAP BW on HANA or BW/4HANA, SAP Datasphere is a plus 
  • Knowledge of and experience with JavaScript 
  • Knowledge of other EPM tools (e.g. Anaplan, Pigment, Tagetik, Oracle EPM, Board) is also considered relevant experience 
  • Data sciences languages such as R, Python, SQL 
  • Management reporting principles (e.g. KPI definition, scorecards, etc.), costing principles (e.g. activity-based costing), Excel VBA and macro’s
