Description of the position

Deloitte is looking for people to grow the Center of Excellence in Treasury Advisory Services as Expert Consultant. Find out if you are ready to make an impact and grow together with us.
You will get the opportunity to
  • Advise on global treasury policies, procedures, and governance frameworks to ensure alignment with corporate objectives and regulatory requirements of our international client.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ treasury functions, including cash management, liquidity planning, funding, and risk management. And develop strategies to optimize working capital, cash flow forecasting, and liquidity management.
  • Support clients in identifying and mitigating financial risks, including interest rate, foreign exchange, and counterparty risks.
  • Prepare clear and concise reports, presentations, and recommendations for stakeholders.
  • Design and implement the new treasury organizational structures and operational processes.
  • Stay abreast of market trends, regulatory changes, and emerging best practices in treasury management.

  • Understand diverse international clients, sectors, and industries to develop market opportunities and service offerings in EMEA with occasional travel.  
  • Train and mentor team members.
We are looking for someone with
  • A master’s degree or equivalent in economics or finance.
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in Treasury Consulting, and corporate treasury.
  • Strong understanding of treasury management principles (cash & liquidity management, risk management, & funding strategies).
  • Experience in advising on treasury policies, controls, and governance frameworks.
  • Ability to analyse complex data and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Solution oriented and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with clients and team, in English and Dutch or French.
