Deloitte’s Global Investment and Innovation Incentives (Gi3) team, part of the Tax & Legal practice, supports organisations in securing the right government support by developing and executing effective cash grants and tax incentives strategies. Our team, composed of scientists and engineers, provides specialist knowledge and hands-on assistance throughout the entire grants and incentives application process.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for an enthusiastic Grant Consultant with 1 to 4 years of experience, eager to develop their skills in preparing and submitting regional, national, and European grant proposals.

Your Responsibilities:

Grant Writing Support: Assist in preparing and submitting grant applications at regional, national, and European levels, while building your expertise in grants.
Client Collaboration: Work with diverse stakeholders, from large international companies to SMEs and non-profit organisations, gaining a solid understanding of their innovation and investment ambitions.
Team Support: Collaborate closely with experienced colleagues and contribute to the quality of client engagements.
Continuous Development: Stay informed about innovations and industry developments relevant to your area of expertise.

Your Profile:

Educational Background: You hold a master’s degree in a scientific or engineering discipline such as IT, smart technology, mechanical engineering, data science, AI or a related field. A PhD is a plus but not required.
Experience: You have 1 to 4 years of work experience, preferably with some involvement in grant applications or research projects, gained through internships, entry-level roles, academia, or consultancy. Experience with grant reporting is a plus.
Eager to Learn: You are proactive, curious, and keen to grow quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Team Player: You enjoy working collaboratively and have strong communication skills.
Analytical and Practical: You possess good analytical skills and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
Client-Focused: You are client-oriented with an entrepreneurial mindset.
Languages: Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.

To assist our clients in dealing with the intricacies of tax, our Business Tax team proposes the services of a multi-disciplinary team of specialists (lawyers, economists, accountants, IT-specialist, project managers), who are highly experienced. This experience spans assisting companies with corporate tax compliance, dealing with the complexities of local regulations and procedures - such as communicating with local tax authorities, setting up new registrations and filing returns. Our team in Hyderabad consists of professionals dealing with Corporate Income Tax compliance, pan-European Indirect Tax compliance, Statutory Accounting and general Project Management (including Engagement Coordination and Business Development).
