Deloitte's Global Investment and Innovation Incentives (Gi3), is embedded within Deloitte’s Tax and legal practice, and is focused on advising a wide variety of organizations in their pursuit of the right government support by developing and executing an effective cash grants & tax incentives strategy tailored to their specific needs. Our Gi3 team, composed of scientists and engineers, provides specialist knowledge and hands-on assistance during the entire grants & incentives application processes. 

To sustain our rapid growth, we are seeking a Manager to further strengthen our Gi3 team with advanced knowledge on cash grants and/or tax incentives and with proven affiliation with the life sciences and health care industry.

You will work with diverse stakeholders from leading Life Sciences & Health Care organizations (Pharma, Medtech, Biotech, hospitals, …) on a broad variety of engagements. Supported by Deloitte’s Life Sciences & Health Care practice and portfolio of capabilities, you will be supporting R&D intensive companies in addressing complex challenges and bringing new discoveries and innovative solutions to life.


Your Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships by gaining a deep understanding of their innovation and investment goals, and act as a trusted advisor on Grants & Incentives strategies.
  • Apply your subject-matter expertise on grants and tax incentives to guide clients through complex application processes.
  • Drive team performance by managing, mentoring, and coaching project team members to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Contribute to business development by leveraging and expanding your professional network within the life sciences and healthcare sector.
  • Stay informed about the latest innovations, industry developments, and market dynamics impacting the sector.

Let's talk about you: 
  • You hold a Master’s degree in (Bio)Engineering, (Bio)Medical Sciences, or a related field. A PhD is considered a strong asset.
  • You bring 6 to 10 years of professional experience and have a solid track record in scientific writing, as well as in the preparation and management of cash grant and/or tax incentive applications (gained either in industry, academia, or consultancy).
  • You have in-depth knowledge of the life sciences and healthcare industry, and possess a broad professional network within the sector.
  • You are entrepreneurial and client-focused, with a proactive learning attitude. You adapt quickly in dynamic environments and thrive in team-oriented settings.
  • You are intellectually curious and motivated to support clients in developing cutting-edge technologies and innovations.
  • You are an excellent communicator, with a strong ability to connect with people and build relationships.
  • You have solid project management and coaching capabilities.
  • You combine strong analytical skills with a pragmatic approach to solution design, always aiming for high quality.
  • You remain calm under pressure, support your team during challenging situations, effectively manage escalations, and help translate abstract ideas into concrete, actionable deliverables.
  • You are fluent in both English and Dutch, in spoken and written communication.

To assist our clients in dealing with the intricacies of tax, our Business Tax team proposes the services of a multi-disciplinary team of specialists (lawyers, economists, accountants, IT-specialist, project managers), who are highly experienced. This experience spans assisting companies with corporate tax compliance, dealing with the complexities of local regulations and procedures - such as communicating with local tax authorities, setting up new registrations and filing returns. Our team in Hyderabad consists of professionals dealing with Corporate Income Tax compliance, pan-European Indirect Tax compliance, Statutory Accounting and general Project Management (including Engagement Coordination and Business Development).
