We are looking for a (Senior) Consultant to strengthen our Finance @ EU Centre of Excellence.

You will apply your experiences in finance and EU foresight to support on critical client issues or key challenges with EU institutions.

You will support the EU Centre of Excellence team in a wide range of various projects from strategy definition to implementation by:

• Bringing your expertise in digital finance, performance management, PBF (planning, budgeting, forecasting), activity-based management, and management reporting.
• Developing accurate planning, budgeting and forecasting models as well as creating meaningful management reporting solutions.
• Being an active team member in various European Institutions projects, covering full end-to-end delivery under AGILE methodology:
• Starting with the discovery, at the initial identification of the business requirements written as user stories, the drawing of the business processes, and the design of the to-be solution through mock-ups, 
• Supporting the development of the solution under the sprints phase, conducting user acceptance testing, supporting cut-over activities, documenting the solution, and providing final end-user training,
• Providing hyper care support and ensure final handover of the solution to the customer’s teams (business and IT)
• Delivering high quality projects with European Institutions’ teams
• Further developing our footprint within the European Institutions and making an impact that matters for Europe,
• Becoming part of a large, motivated, and successful team,
• Supporting proposal writing and business development activities naturally.

Let’s talk about you

• Minimum 2 years of relevant Public Sector industry, business, consulting, and/or technological professional experience in planning, budgeting, forecasting, and/or management reporting.
• Ideally, you have prior experience in the European Institutions in the field of financial management and are familiar with or willing to learn the European Financial Regulation and their financial systems.
• You have been actively involved in transformations and consulting project work or in internal projects.
• You want to work in an international, multicultural, and dynamic environment.
• You are independent, creative, and conscientious way of working as well as pronounced team orientation.
• You have experience with or been exposed to finance and/or management reporting tools such as SAP (BPC or SAC), Anaplan, Qlik (Sense), Microsoft Power BI or any other relevant tool.
• You can communicate with all levels in an EU Institution, including (General) Director level.
• You are willing to travel in the European Union on a regular basis if required by the project.
• You are fluent in English and French (both written and spoken) - Any other European language is an asset such as Dutch.
