The team is part of the Global Tax Centre Europe and assists businesses in navigating complex financial and tax challenges across more than 30 countries, ensuring full compliance with local and international regulations. We are seeking a Senior Tax Data Analyst who understands tax and accounting-related data challenges and can translate these into AI-powered solutions using modern data technologies. The ideal candidate possesses expertise in Python, SQL, and Databricks with a strong analytical background in tax and accounting data, combined with hands-on experience in Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Tax and Accounting Expertise with AI: Work closely with Tax Compliance engagement teams to deliver AI-powered data solutions by combining practical tax knowledge with emerging AI technologies.
- Generative AI & LLM Integration: Design and implement AI-driven solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs) and prompt engineering to automate tax data extraction, classification, and analysis. Build Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines for intelligent document processing.
- Data Extraction and Transformation: Extract and analyze data from various databases using Python, SQL, Databricks, and Alteryx. Leverage AI models to automate data extraction from unstructured sources (documents, PDFs).
- Workflow Development & Automation: Develop intelligent workflows and agentic AI solutions using Databricks to streamline tax processes and reduce manual intervention.
- Advanced Data Analysis & AI Insights: Conduct advanced data analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning to derive valuable insights from tax data. Build predictive models to identify compliance risks and optimization opportunities.
- AI Model Development & Validation: Develop, test, and validate AI/ML models for tax-specific use cases, ensuring accuracy and compliance with responsible AI principles.
- Responsible AI & Governance: Ensure all AI solutions adhere to responsible AI principles, including bias detection, explainability, and governance frameworks. Collaborate with stakeholders to validate AI outputs and maintain trust in automated tax processes.
- Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing: Work with cross-functional teams (tax specialists, IT, business analysts) to understand requirements and deliver AI-driven solutions. Share AI best practices with the team.
Let’s talk about you:
- Experience: 3-6 years of relevant experience
- Education & Tax Knowledge: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce or Computer Science, with practical knowledge of Direct Tax and Accounting principles.
- Technical Expertise: Advanced skills in Databricks, Alteryx, SQL, and/or Python for building production-grade data pipelines and automation.
- Generative AI & LLM Experience: Hands-on experience with Generative AI, Large Language Models, LLM APIs, prompt engineering, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
- Communication & Learning: Excellent English communication skills to explain complex AI/data concepts to non-technical stakeholders, with strong adaptability to new AI/ML technologies.
- Preferred Certifications & Tools: Relevant certifications (Databricks, Azure AI, AI/ML specializations) and experience with Power BI, Python ML libraries, vector databases, and LLM fine-tuning.
- Advanced AI & Domain Knowledge: Understanding of responsible AI, AI governance, autonomous workflows, and experience applying AI in tax/finance or intelligent document processing.
