- Conduct thorough assessments of target companies' IT organization, infrastructure, systems, processes, projects and strategy as part of pre-acquisition due diligence.
- Analyze and evaluate IT risks and potential vulnerabilities associated with the target company's current and planned technology systems.
- Prepare detailed reports presenting the findings, risks and results of the analysis.
- Collaborate with other members of the due diligence team, including legal, financial, and operational professionals, and private equity companies and other investment firms.
- Manage relationships with clients and other stakeholders, and provide guidance and recommendations to support effective decision-making.
- Develop and maintain subject matter expertise in IT risk management and due diligence best practices.
Let’s talk about you
- Bachelor's or master's degree in business engineering, computer science, information systems, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in (IT) M&A, IT risk management, information security, or related field.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and evaluate potential IT risks and vulnerabilities.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience conducting due diligence assessments and managing client relationships preferred.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards related to IT risk management, including GDPR, ISO 27001, and SOC 2.
- Familiarity with common technology stacks and architectures, including cloud-based systems and SaaS platforms.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with other team members to complete projects within tight deadlines.
- Overall, the M&A Technology Senior Consultant should have a deep understanding of IT risk management and due diligence best practices, as well as the ability to analyze and evaluate complex IT systems and processes.
