The Deloitte US CIT group in Belgium is a comprehensive full-service practice specialising in US compliance, consulting, and tax accounting. We offer expert tax advice to multinational organisations on cross-border investments, covering both foreign investments into the US and US investments into Europe and beyond. Our diverse client portfolio spans the US, Belgium, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Poland, France, etc. We collaborate closely with the Deloitte Washington National Tax group (WNT) and other Deloitte US offices to deliver seamless joint engagements and expert technical support.

Candidates joining our team will have the opportunity to focus on a wide range of international compliance, consulting, and tax accounting matters. We provide a variety of targeted training programmes designed to enhance professional skills and support career growth. Candidates will be employed by Deloitte Belgium.

• 2–3 years of general tax experience, with at least 1 year focused on international taxation;
• Proven experience in tax consulting and/or compliance;
• Experience with inbound and outbound international U.S. tax consulting and/or compliance is an advantage/preferred;
• Excellent research skills and strong written and verbal communications skills required;
• Advanced degree such as Master in Taxation, Accounting or JD /LLM preferred;
• CPA preferred or must meet minimum requirements to sit for CPA exam before beginning full-time employment. For lawyers must have passed Bar exam before starting employment;
• Demonstrated leadership, problem solving, analytical skills;
• Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments, and manage ambiguity;
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with professionals at all levels.
