As an E-Invoicing Manager, you will be the primary advisor to clients on all aspects of e-invoicing, e-reporting, and VAT obligations, both in Belgium and internationally. You will play a key role in building strong client relationships, ensuring high-quality service delivery, and leading a team of professionals.

  • Act as the primary advisor to clients on all aspects and ensuring they remain compliant with evolving VAT, e-invoicing, and e-reporting regulations.
  • Overseeing service delivery in line with Deloitte’s high-quality standards and ensuring an exceptional client experience.
  • Assist and advise clients on e-invoicing regulations, digital reporting frameworks, and VAT compliance strategies, analyzing VAT processes, assessing risks, and providing practical solutions to enhance compliance and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across Tax, Legal, and Technology teams to provide a holistic approach to VAT, e-invoicing, and e-reporting obligations.
  • Stay up to date with legislative changes in e-invoicing, and e-reporting, translating developments into actionable insights for clients. Contribute to thought leadership by sharing knowledge on best practices and regulatory trends.
  • Mentor and support professionals, guiding team members in strengthening their expertise and playing a key role in their professional development.
  • Engage in business development by identifying new opportunities, expanding client relationships, and recommending tailored solutions
This role offers the opportunity to lead and shape VAT advisory services while working in a dynamic, collaborative, and innovative environment.

Let's Talk About You: 
  • You have an university degree in a relevant field such as business economics, law, accounting, or tax. A specialisation in indirect tax and/or technology affiliation is a plus.
  • 5–8 years of relevant experience in indirect tax compliance, e-invoicing, e-reporting, or indirect tax advisory.
  • Strong knowledge of VAT legislation and reporting obligations at both national and EU levels.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with clients.
  • Fluency in English and Dutch or French.
  • Experience with delivering e-invoicing projects is an asset.
  • A recognised tax consultant qualification (ITAA) is a plus.
