Our Procurement team at Deloitte is one of the key drivers, directly linked to our organization’s objectives and ambitions. We guide and advise internal stakeholders such as contract managers, to successfully navigate sourcing projects and engage with the right supplier for the requirements that were set.
We are looking for a new colleague to join our Central Procurement Team as a Procurement Expert.
In this role you will be responsible for providing support and expertise in procurement processes towards contract managers within Facility, Mobility, ITS, HR and Travel departments. You will report towards the Procurement Lead.
As a Procurement advisor you will also play a key role in optimizing costs, maintaining quality of services and supporting the organization’s goals.

You will focus on a wide range of activities allowing you to:
  • Act as business partner towards designated stakeholders, understanding operational needs and align with stakeholders on ongoing procurement activities  
  • Manage the contract lifecycle and supplier relationship
  • Monitor supplier and contract compliance
  • Support in RFx projects, focus on time process time and budget.
  • Perform Market research
  • Utilize data analytics to make informed decisions
  • Liaise with the internal client to identify their requirements for a sourcing project
  • Stay informed about the market trends for a range of categories 
  • Source suppliers, Identify and evaluating potential suppliers to meet the needs of the internal client while considering factors like costs, quality and reliability
  • Engage in negotiations with suppliers to ensure and secure pricing, terms and conditions and services for a certain term in coordination with our Legal department 
  • Guide the category managers in building and maintaining supplier relationships
  • Monitor supplier spend while seeking ways to optimize spending and achieve savings
  • Ensure sustainability requirements and ethical practices when selecting suppliers and products 
  • Align Deloitte BE procurement sustainability strategies with Deloitte Global strategies
Let's talk about you
  • Proven first work experience (2-6y) as a Procurement Expert or in a similar relevant role
  • Affinity with sustainable sourcing  
  • Good working knowledge of purchasing and sourcing strategies 
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Strong and critical analytical thinking 
  • Problem solving
  • Critical mindset
  • Good skill of Microsoft Office, Excel and Powerpoint
  • You have obtained a Masters degree in any relevant field
  • You can communicate fluently in Dutch and English
