Your journey with us

Apply your experiences in finance and industry foresight on critical client issues with CFOs and executives. 

Assist our client in a wide range of various projects in the Financial Services industry from strategy definition to implementation by: 

  • Having quality discussions with clients at C-suite level, demonstrating creativity combined with industry knowledge
  • Proving our clients a forward-looking view of the most important strategic topics affecting them and define the right set of initiatives and projects to execute upon this strategy
  • Delivery of engagements, liaising with stakeholders, and directing activities of people on the project team. Key areas may include Finance strategy, Operating models, Finance processes, Costing and Profitability
  • In addition, you will play an active role in business development activities in order to grow our Financial Services industry offering:
  • Shaping the ‘Finance and Performance in FSI team’, leveraging skills and capabilities from across Deloitte Consulting
  • Delivery of engagements, liaising with stakeholders, and directing activities of people on the project team for our FSI clients
  • Leverage your superb skills and remarkable business sense to support the wider team in business development and sales activities in Finance across FSI accounts

Let’s talk about you

  • Minimum 4 years relevant professional experience in a consulting firm or a blend of consulting and Financial Services industry experience
  • Expertise in Finance organisation, controlling activities, processes, operating models and knowledge in tools for Finance (e.g. SAP, Hyperion, Tagetik…)
  • Detailed knowledge of the Belgian Financial Services market, experience in Banking or Insurance and understanding of the key factors to address
  • Communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas to all levels of an organisation, and effectively manage all key stakeholders
  • You have excellent people management and business development skills 
  • Ability to lead and direct large and cross-functional projects
  • English written and oral communication skills (Dutch and/or French is a plus)
