Sustainability is an integral part of the business world and is high on the agenda of many business leaders due to the new European legislation surrounding it, with which they will have to comply. A sustainable company can only be sustained with an efficient and collectively clear goal in mind regarding sustainability. That's why we are looking for high-performing, innovative, and enthusiastic candidates to join our growing team! We assist clients in identifying, measuring, auditing, and reporting on the non-financial performance metrics most relevant to their business. Additionally, you will support our clients in achieving their sustainability ambitions. With your expertise, you help key players in various sectors mitigate sustainability risks while simultaneously improving their performance in the areas of environment, society, and ESG, ensuring compliance with existing and new reporting standards.

You will support our clients in:

1. Providing advice to translate ESG strategies into transparent non-financial information.
2. Assessing the maturity and compliance of non-financial reporting.
3. Assisting in their sustainability journey, from strategy and implementation to reporting.
4. Identifying ESG KPIs and how to calculate scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions.
5. Identifying and integrating ESG/Climate risks into the overall strategy.
6. Advising, preparing, auditing, and evaluating non-financial reports.
7. Monitoring the evolution of regulatory requirements and expectations in the field of ESG (CSRD, EU Taxonomy, Sustainable Corporate Governance, etc.).
8. Conducting ESG Due Diligences in the context of M&A transactions.

You will also be responsible for:

1. Business development related to ESG (including assisting in the implementation of our commercial strategy, organizing workshops, etc.).
2. Project management.
3. People management (including coaching/training of younger colleagues).

Who are we looking for?

• You have relevant experience in ESG in general and non-financial reporting in particular.
• You have relevant experience in advising clients on insights into sustainability and long-term value creation.
• A proven track record in addressing sustainability challenges, such as sustainable strategy, sustainable investments, and sustainability reporting.
• Previous experience in risk management (experience in integrating risks into sustainability within a management framework is an added value).
• Knowledge of NFRD, CSRD, GRI, and TCFD is recommended.
• Previous experience in auditing and/or advisory services is a plus.
