Your journey with us

The Tax Data & Process Team is looking for an experienced consultant to strengthen their team (Data2insight) in a wide range of analytics projects related to strategy, operations, and financial performance within the Tax landscape.
You will take ownership of client workstreams, shape engagement approaches, and act as a trusted advisor on how to turn fragmented tax data into a strategic asset. You will gain exposure to multiple industries with a chance to choose a focus and help to shape Deloitte market offerings. 

Under the direction of a Manager or Lead, you will be:

  • Managing tax data readiness assessments
  • Designing end-to-end tax data journeys and identifying control gaps and automation opportunities
  • Architecting data transformation and migration approaches
  • Building, configuring and analyzing tax data sets to be used for modeling, clustering, segmentation, and data mining
  • Delivering analytical insights
  • Using a variety of technologies for process analysis and design and data analytics
  • Developing tax dashboard and insight layers that connect operations data to strategic decision-making
  • Mentoring junior team members and contributing to offering development, thought leadership, and go-to market strategy.

Let's talk about you

  • You have 2 to 5 years of professional experience
  • Relevant experience in Data Science within corporate Finance and/ or Accounting.
  • You are a team player with strong communication skills with the ability to tailor your presentation style to different levels of the organization
  • You have an intellectual curiosity in combination with outstanding analytical skills
  • You have hands-on experience with data analysis, ETL processes, reconciliation logic, BI/Dashboarding tools etc.
  • You have a genuine interest / passion in tax technology, regulatory change and the evolving role of data in tax
  • You are structured and process minded
  • You have a true willingness and ability to work as part of an integrated, enthusiastic and multidisciplinary team
  • You’re open to work in an international environment and to work abroad if needed
  • You’re fluent in English. Dutch and/or French is a plus
