As (Senior) Manager in our M&A Transaction Services group you support clients with financial advice during M&A or transformation projects, including financial due diligence assignments, carve-out preparation, business plan reviews, valuations & business modeling, SPA advice, M&A strategy as well as financial support in other corporate finance matters. Your primary focus will be to provide M&A support to our clients, working closely with a team of experienced M&A professionals with exposure to a wide range of clients. In addition, you have an important role to play in our business development opportunities.
- You are in charge of projects to advise and support clients in complex M&A transactions with services ranging from financial due diligence, sell side vendor assistance & due diligence, business plan reviews, carve-out support, SPA advice and negotiations, synergy identification, and other M&A support services.
- You are the first contact towards the client, manage your team of M&A professionals and coordinate the work streams of other Deloitte expert teams.
- You will be active on large cross border deals as well as mid-market transactions.
- You play an important role in our business development opportunities.
- You work closely together with a team of experienced M&A professionals and gain exposure to a wide range of clients both corporate as well as private equity.
Let’s talk about you
- You have at least 5 years of experience as an auditor, a financial analyst or a specialist in M&A and/or financial due diligence.
- You are passionate about M&A and eager to make an impact that matters for our clients on the deals that shape our market.
- In this role as a Manager keywords are autonomy, ownership and entrepreneurship.
- You have a Master’s degree in finance or economics. Being enrolled in or having completed the CFA program is an asset.
- You are fluent in Dutch, French and English and have solid writing and presentation skills.
- You have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships between individuals, teams and lines of business.
- You have the ability to communicate clearly, persuade and influence.
- You have a proactive approach and flexible attitude with the ability to demonstrate initiative and reliability.
- You have the ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- You have excellent coaching skills and experience in managing people.
- You have strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
