You join our team of highly experienced Supply Chain consultants and advise our clients with their most challenging questions. You use your knowledge and experience to transform our local as well as international clients’ Supply Chain into a source of competitive advantage. We are seeking an experienced (Senior) Manager to lead our Defense Supply Chain offering. This is a strategic management role combining deep Supply Chain expertise, Defense sector knowledge, and team management capabilities.
You will drive advisory & operational engagements with government and dual-use Defense contractors, build and mentor a high-performing team, and establish Deloitte as the trusted partner in Belgium for Defense Procurement & Supply Chain transformations.
In your role, you will
- Lead Government & Dual-Use Defense Contracts Advisory: Direct complex advisory engagements with Belgian and European government agencies, Defense ministries, and dual-use contractors on Supply Chain strategy, contract & vendor optimization. Leverage deep understanding of end-to-end (technology-enabled) Supply Chain transformations, covering Plan-Source-Make-Deliver areas, from visioning to business requirements definition, tool selection if needed, process, organization and technology solution design, and all aspects of implementation.
- Lead & support the client in the day-to-day execution of their Procurement & Supply Chain strategy & operations. A non-exhaustive list of example projects can be found below.
- Lead Digital Transformation in Defense Procurement & Supply Chain: Champion innovation initiatives including digitalization adoption within Defense organizations. Guide our clients through technology implementation while addressing sector-specific security and interoperability requirements.
- Develop & Lead High-Performing Team: Recruit, develop, and mentor a team of consultants and subject matter experts focused on Defense sector advisory. Foster a culture of excellence, thought leadership, and client-centric delivery while driving team growth and capability development.
- Develop & Grow the Supply Chain Defense Offering: Establish Deloitte's market position as the leading advisor for Defense supply chain transformation across Belgium and Benelux. Identify market opportunities, develop service offerings, build strategic partnerships with government and industry stakeholders, and drive business development initiatives. Establish yourself as a trusted advisor and thought leader through industry engagement, speaking opportunities, and insights on Defense procurement trends and regulatory developments.

Supply Chain:
- Supply Network Planning study highlighting improvements and recommendations in order to best leverage the distribution network while decreasing working capital investment and increasing service levels
- Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) assessment and / or implementation
- Demand planning and forecasting improvement initiatives
- (Multi-echelon) inventory optimization studies and target calculations
- Warehousing and logistics vision and strategy but also improving operations
- (Smart) Manufacturing: from vision and strategy to OEE improvements
- Analysis and improvements identification over SC processes and beyond (order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, ..)
- 7+ years of professional experience in procurement, supply chain management, or Defense sector advisory & operations.
- Strong understanding of Defense industry dynamics, dual-use technologies.
- Proven track record leading teams and managing complex, multi-stakeholder engagements.
- Good knowledge of public procurement processes, NATO & EU Defense standards.
- Affinity with business development activities within the Defense industry.
- Excellent strategic thinking, communication, and client relationship management skills.
- A Master's degree and 3-5 years of consulting experience is a strong asset.
- Fluent in Dutch and/or French and English.
- You are eager to work in an international environment, and willing to travel on an ad-hoc basis.
