We have an exciting opening for a Treasury Assistant within our own Deloitte Belgium's Finance Department. In this crucial role, you will collaborate directly with our Treasury Manager to oversee and optimise the daily cashflow operations for all Deloitte entities across Belgium.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Forecasting & Analysis: Preparing accurate cashflow forecasts and conducting thorough analysis of foreign currency exposure to inform strategic decisions.
  • Hedging Expertise: Advising on effective currency hedging strategies to mitigate risk.
  • Optimisation: Proactively controlling financial costs and ensuring the optimal utilisation of excess cash on a daily basis.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Building and nurturing strong relationships with essential stakeholders, including banks, partners, clients, and our central finance department.
  • Reporting: Delivering clear and comprehensive monthly reports on Deloitte's cash position and forecasts to all relevant parties.

Let's talk about you
  • Master’s degree in accounting, finance or economics
  • Ideally you have a first working experience (0-5 years)
  • Proficient in MS Office, with advanced Excel skills.
  • Your analytical skills and critical mindset will enable you to identify deviations from standard cashflow patterns on the spot
  • Basic knowledge of currency hedging
  • Ability to work independently in an organised and structured manner, prioritising effectively.
  • Clear communicator with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Capable of explaining and documenting processes clearly and systematically.
  • Proactive in suggesting improvements and optimising ways of working.
  • Proficient in Dutch and English.
  • Eager to learn, adaptable, and a committed team player.
  • Resilient under pressure.
