Your journey with us

We are looking for experienced professionals to join Deloitte’s Life Sciences Strategy practice, with a main focus on Market Access and Health Economics topics and an innate interest to turn advanced analytics into strategic insights.
As a member of our team, you will work with stakeholders from many of the leading Life Sciences organizations (Pharma, Medtech, Biotech, …) on a broad range of complex engagements.

The role of the (Senior) Consultant includes:
• Engaging in high-quality discussions with clients, demonstrating creativity and strong knowledge of the pharmaceutical market (market access, health economics and pricing).
• Utilizing strong analytical and modelling skills to develop insightful analyses that inform client decision-making.
• Supporting clients in determining their strategies and defining the right set of initiatives and projects to execute these strategies effectively.
• Coordinates the creation of sections and/or entire reports, presentations, workshops, and other client deliverables.
• Delivering engagements, including independent management of larger project modules and leading a team of junior consultants.
• Actively participating in business development and thought leadership activities to support the growth of our Life Sciences and Health Care practice with a specific focus on Market Access and Health Economics topics.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Masters or MBA degree; PHD is a plus
  • Over four years of previous work experience in consulting or in the Life Sciences and/or health care sector, preferably within Market Access and Health Economics areas
  • Fluent in English (Dutch and/or French is a plus)

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES AND SOFT SKILLS
  • Strong expertise in the Life Sciences & Health Care industry, particularly in pricing and market access strategies.
  • Advanced analytical and modeling skills; proficient in Excel, Python, and R for health economics and pricing analysis.
  • Deep understanding of market access environments, reimbursement processes, HTA bodies, and payer requirements.
  • Knowledge in key therapeutic areas, with a preference for immunology, oncology, and vaccines.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of translating complex ideas to various stakeholders; strong presentation and report-writing abilities.
  • Strong project management experience, including leading teams, managing multiple tasks, and mentoring junior staff.
  • Expertise in health economic modeling, systematic literature reviews, meta-analyses, and real-world evidence analysis, including QALYs and ICERs.
