Description of the position

Can’t wait to make an impact on the world? You’re not alone. Join us in driving progress in the working world and beyond.

Your journey with us

We are looking for a passionate Digital Identity strategist to join our Customer Identity team, helping clients solve their IAM-related challenges with a strategic, business-oriented mindset. As an experienced Customer Identity & Access Management (CIAM) functional analyst or ‘Strategist’, you help serve our clients, build our business, and guide our team members. Your main role is to help our clients in assessing and planning the digital identity journey for their customers or citizens.

As no other, you understand the client’s challenges that can be improved upon through digital identity. You can passionately explain the potential benefits, capture requirements, and translate them to solution teams. For example, you help clients by defining their vision, strategy, governance, and roadmap, based on known capabilities. You build trust and engage actively with key client stakeholders, both at operational and executive level, for example through design workshops, inspiring customer journey descriptions, matching vendor demos, or sharing good experiences from your other work and clients.

Let's talk about you

  • You are passionate and enthusiastic about digital identity, its societal and corporate potential, and the essential role of identity in the wider cyber security landscape.
  • You like solving problems, have an analytical mindset, can work autonomously, and can handle multiple projects and clients simultaneously.
  • You are focused on achieving and exceeding client expectations, combined with excellent communication skills, both in presenting and writing
  • You are entrepreneurial in nature, pro-active, and communicative.
  • You are able to help clients in their identity transformation by translating complex business requirements into functional and/or technical requirements.
  • You are able to help develop our identity offering and client portfolio by identifying new opportunities, building a network, and forming durable, trust-based client relationships.
  • You are able to build a team around you and develop our talent, both through leading a project team and coaching other team members.
  • You show an eagerness to keep learning new skills and building your knowledge
  • Strong functional analysis skills related to digital transformation including experience with:
  • Organising and leading client workshops at senior and operational level
  • Capturing client requirements, e.g., through captivating user journeys, and translating these to implementation teams
  • Analysis and modelling methodologies such as BPMN or UML
  • Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF
  • Solid experience in digital identity and capabilities related to the identification and access management of external users, such as citizens, customers, or other external users (CIAM), incl. knowledge of and experience with:
  • Typical processes related to CIAM, including user onboarding, credential management, federated access, and consent management.
  • Good practices for authorisation models for customers, such as claims-based access control or modern alternatives such as policy-based access (PBAC).
  • Designing and implementing organisational identity visions, strategies, and roadmaps
  • Devising IAM and security policies, target operating models, roles and responsibilities, including knowledge of related risk and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO27k, NIS2, etc.).
  • European and global innovations in citizen or customer identity management, such as the European Digital Identity (EUDI) Wallet, decentralised identity, or related capabilities like zero-knowledge proofing.
  • Existing and upcoming use-cases for citizen and customer digital identity, such as Digital Travel Credentials, Mobile Drivers License, professional attestations, Identity Wallets for businesses, etc.
  • European and international standards for digital identity, proofing, and related processes, e.g., ETSI TS 119 461, ISO 29-series, and the eIDAS Regulation (1183/2024)
  • Knowledge of the CIAM vendor and solutions landscape at business level, depending on the capability (e.g., platform solutions such as Ping, and/or authentication solutions like Itsme)
  • Experience in working in or with government and public sector organisations, at national or international level (European Commission), in relation to digital identity.
  • You are open to work in an international environment and to travel if needed;
  • You have fluent language skills in Dutch and English
  • You have experience in managing a team and/or coaching and guiding of others
