The IT Security Officer is responsible for managing and enhancing the security posture of the organisation. This role involves handling security tickets, managing access controls, responding to incidents, monitoring vulnerabilities, and promoting security awareness. The IT Security Officer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of security standards and processes across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

Ticket Management:

  • Handle IT security tickets within the ServiceNow platform, ensuring timely resolution and adherence to security protocols.
  • Assist colleagues by responding to their security questions and requests, providing guidance and solutions to enhance overall security awareness and compliance.

Access Control Management:

  • Manage privileged, local admin, service, and test account requests, maintaining strict access control to safeguard critical systems and data.

Incident Response:

  • Aid in incident response activities by analysing security incidents to determine their scope and impact.
  • Prepare comprehensive Incident Response (IR) reports for security incidents.
  • Maintain the Incident Tracker to provide an accurate and up-to-date record of all security incidents.

Vulnerability Management:

  • Maintain and update the Vulnerability Management Dashboard to provide real-time insights into the organisation's security posture.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, assess, and prioritise vulnerabilities in the IT infrastructure.
  • Follow up on perception monitoring remediations, addressing security concerns and vulnerabilities to enhance the organisation's overall security posture.

Security Awareness:

  • Be part of the team organizing awareness campaigns and phishing drills, working collaboratively with teams across Deloitte to enhance security awareness across the organisation.
  • Engage and inform colleagues across the firm about new security initiatives, sharing knowledge and best practices to foster a culture of security.

Knowledge Management:

  • Create, maintain, and update knowledge articles related to security policies, procedures, processes, and best practices, ensuring that vital information is readily accessible to relevant stakeholders.

Project Involvement:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and actively participate in security projects, ensuring seamless integration and adherence to security standards.
  • Support the implementation of processes for new security projects, ensuring alignment with established security standards.

Let's talk about you

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience gained through professional work.
  • You have an excellent command of English or Dutch and French, both written and spoken.
  • Relevant security certifications are preferred.
  • Proven experience in IT security, access control management, incident response, and vulnerability management.
  • Knowledge of incident management, vulnerability management and application security.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
