Depending on the team you join, you will have different kinds of tasks:

  • You’ll experience every legal aspect there is to know in your domain of expertise
  • You’ll assist a top advisor
  • You’ll learn how to ensure that all reporting obligations are respected
  • You may help the Deloitte Cyber Security team with an end-to-end Cyber offering to clients
  • You’ll assist in understanding our clients’ current threats, in assessing their current capabilities, and in defining a strategy to become more resilient
  • You’ll help the team with privacy regulation. We’ll provide an enriching environment where you can develop your skills

Let’s talk about you

  • You are in the final year or pre-final year of your master’s degree
  • You are highly motivated, and a reliable team player with a sense of initiative
  • You are fluent in Dutch and/or French and have a good knowledge of English
  • You are up to date with the newest regulations (e.g., with regards to data privacy or taxation)
  • You have an eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a critical mindset
  • You are a strong communicator, proactive, and know how to tackle a problem
  • You are keen on daily interaction and close collaboration with the client
  • You can easily adapt to changing circumstances as you will face new challenges every day
  • You know how to anticipate potential problems

Practical information

During the internship, you’ll develop your soft and technical skills and expand your network as you work with professionals who share their experience and coach you. A dedicated promoter will connect with you bi-weekly to evaluate your progress and assist you when needed. You will also be assigned a buddy, whom you can reach out to at all times! You and your buddy will have several informal meet-ups on a weekly basis to discuss day-to-day issues and solutions.

The exact period can be defined together with the university. Preferably, the internship is a compulsory element of your course, which your college or university can confirm by providing a certificate.
