Description of the position

Can’t wait to make an impact on the world? You’re not alone. Join us in driving progress in the working world and beyond.

Your journey with us

We are looking for a passionate Privileged Access Management (IAM) Engineer to join our Identity team, helping clients solve their PAM-related challenges based on solid technical understanding.

As an experienced Privileged Access Management Engineer with around six years of expertise, you play a key role in delivering effective PAM solutions to our clients while contributing to the growth of our business and mentoring team members. Your primary responsibility is to translate client needs into practical, secure PAM implementations by designing and deploying robust privileged access controls and processes. You are the trusted expert who combines deep technical knowledge with business requirements, offering clear guidance on solution feasibility, effort estimation, and interdependencies. With a strong grasp of leading PAM technologies and platforms, you act as the vital link between client technical teams and our engineering group. Your work includes developing implementation plans, creating technical designs, and leading the execution of PAM use-cases and features. You build strong relationships with key client stakeholders and thrive on resolving complex technical challenges. While you have hands-on technical skills to contribute directly, when necessary, your strength lies in leading and guiding engineering teams to successful delivery.

Let's talk about you
  • You have a can-do mentality to secure privileged access while enabling the day-to-day work of system administrators.
  • You are passionate and enthusiastic about Digital Identity, its societal and corporate potential, and the essential role of identity in the wider cyber security landscape.
  • You like solving problems, have an analytical mindset, can work autonomously, and can handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • You are focused on achieving and exceeding client expectations, combined with excellent communication skills, both in presenting and writing.
  • You are entrepreneurial in nature, pro-active, and communicative.
  • You can help clients in their identity transformation by translating complex requirements into practical design and implementation choices.
  • You can help develop our identity offering and client portfolio by identifying new opportunities, building a network, and forming durable, trust-based client relationships.
  • You can build a team around you and develop our talent, both through leading a project team and coaching other team members.
  • Proven experience of around 6 years in system administration of Windows, Linux and/or network infrastructure.
  • Understanding the concepts of Privileged Access Management (PAM), covering various use cases like human, non-human access and machine identities.
  • Strong technical proficiency in digital identity and cybersecurity, with a track record of creating technical designs and implementing solutions on leading PAM platforms.
  • Familiarity with the PAM vendor ecosystem and their offerings, including solutions like CyberArk, BeyondTrust, Delinea and / or Saviynt.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience configuring and implementing PAM tools.
  • Experience guiding small teams through the delivery of IAM and PAM implementations for clients.
  • Ideally, some understanding of PAM standards, best practices, and protocols such as SAML, LDAP(S), SSH, RDP and SCIM.
  • Good understanding of internet technologies and protocols, including HTTP, SSL/TLS, IPv4/v6, and XML.
  • Experience with Service Oriented Architectures and related technologies such as JSON, SOAP, and REST.
  • Familiarity with directory services, meta-directories, and virtual directories, including Microsoft Entra/Active Directory, LDAP, and IPA.
  • Development skills are advantageous, particularly in languages such as Python and PowerShell.
  • Experience leading and collaborating with nearshore and offshore teams to deliver effective PAM solutions.
  • Good IT project management skills, with the ability to lead teams through all project phases including design, development, and deployment.
  • Willingness to work in an international environment and travel abroad if required.
  • Fluent communication skills in English are essential; proficiency in Dutch is preferred.
  • Relevant professional certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, or specialised PAM/vendor certifications are a plus
