We are currently seeking a Regulatory Reporting Controller to enhance our Accounting and Regulatory Reporting team in the Center of Expertise within the Central Finance department. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including supporting monthly and year-end closings, conducting monthly and ad hoc analyses and reconciliations, preparing regulatory reports (BE GAAP for both statutory and consolidation purposes, as well as IFRS), compiling management financial statements, preparing tax declarations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the monthly and year-end closing processes, ensuring compliance with accounting, legal, and tax regulations.
  • Perform detailed analyses of profit and loss and balance sheet movements on both a monthly and ad hoc basis.
  • Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and reconcile data across different accounting ledgers.
  • Collaborate closely with accountants, central finance controllers and controllers from various business units to obtain accurate and timely information for analysis.
  • Review and propose accounting treatments for new transactions within the firm.
  • Assist in the preparation of tax declarations.
  • Document and optimise internal controls across various business cycles.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact and coordinator for internal and external audit processes.
Let's talk about you

  • Master’s degree in Accounting or Economics.
  • Proficient in MS Office, with advanced Excel skills; experience with SAP is advantageous.
  • Very strong analytical, mathematical, and reconciliation skills, coupled with a critical mindset.
  • Solid understanding of consolidation processes.
  • Ability to work independently in an organised and structured manner, prioritising effectively.
  • Capable of explaining and documenting processes clearly and systematically.
  • Proactive in suggesting improvements and optimising ways of working.
  • Proficient in Dutch and English.
  • Eager to learn, adaptable, and a committed team player.
  • Clear communicator with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Resilient under pressure.
