The AI&D team is looking for a Consultant in Data & AI Strategy to strengthen the team across the domains of Data Strategy, AI Strategy, Data Governance, AI Governance, and Master Data Management / ERP Data Governance. You will gain exposure to multiple industries, with the opportunity to choose a focus area while helping to shape Deloitte’s market offerings.
  • Engage in projects spanning data strategy, AI strategy, AI governance, data governance, and MDM/ERP governance.
  • Advise clients on master data management (MDM) and ERP-related data governance challenges, ensuring data quality and consistency across complex environments.
  • Support clients in major ERP transformations (e.g., SAP S/4HANA) by designing governance processes, stewardship models, and CRUD processes to secure high-quality master data.
  • Develop and implement data & AI operating models, frameworks, policies, and processes that strengthen clients’ data foundations.
  • Stay on top of industry trends and advancements in ERP, MDM, and data management, as well as data and AI governance, to bring thought leadership and innovative solutions.
  • Prepare and facilitate client meetings, interviews, and workshops.
  • Build trusted relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders in the ERP/MDM and broader AI & data strategy domains.
  • Contribute to proposals and go-to-market initiatives across the AI & Data Strategy portfolio.
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative research and analysis on MDM, ERP governance, data governance, and AI governance practices.
  • Deliver reports, recommendations, and conclusions for our clients.
  • Conduct workshops, trainings, and other knowledge-sharing sessions for internal and external audiences.
  • Support the further development of our AI & Data Strategy tribe.

Let's talk about you:

  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in data governance, ERP programs, or master data management (MDM).
  • Passionate about the value of MDM and ERP data governance to ensure transformation success and unlock business value.
  • Proven track record in one or more of the following: ERP transformations, MDM, data governance, AI governance, or data strategy.
  • Experience with MDM operating models, stewardship roles, and CRUD process design.
  • Familiarity with ERP landscapes (especially SAP) and their interconnections with master data.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to translate ERP/MDM requirements into practical roadmaps and sustainable governance solutions.
  • Experience with data governance or MDM tools (e.g., Collibra, SAP MDG, Atlan, MS Purview) is a plus.
  • Broader interest in AI governance and data & AI strategy, beyond ERP/MDM.
  • Strong communication skills; able to facilitate workshops and guide stakeholders in complex ERP and data contexts.
  • Ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels, balancing detail-oriented delivery with strategic vision.
  • Curious, eager to learn, a self-starter, and a collaborative team player with strong soft skills.
  • Fluent in English and Dutch and/or French
