Our “Global Investment and Innovation Incentives (Gi3)” service line is embedded within Deloitte’s Tax and legal practice, and is focused on advising companies in their pursuit of the right incentives by developing and executing an effective incentives strategy for their specific needs. As the large majority of our “Global Investment and Innovation Incentives (Gi3)” service line consists of scientists and engineers, the Gi³ team in Belgium offers specialist knowledge and added value consulting to allow our clients to benefit from various incentives and grants related to their priorities in terms of R&D, innovation and sustainability, and to optimize their intellectual property.

To support our rapid growth, we are seeking a new colleague to join our Gi3 team.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Advise clients across diverse industries and markets on their R&D, innovation, and sustainability initiatives.
  • Develop strong client relationships by gaining a deep understanding of their R&D, innovation, sustainability priorities, and intellectual property (IP) strategies through regular client engagements.
  • Gather and analyse scientific, technical, and financial data from clients to help them secure grants, funding, and tax incentives at both local and European levels.
  • Identify R&D, innovation, and sustainability activities that qualify for grants and incentives.
  • Assist clients in preparing comprehensive application documentation.
  • Support clients throughout the entire application process, from submission to post-award management.
  • Keep abreast of the latest innovations and market trends within your area of expertise.
Your Profile:
  • Ideally, you have 1 to 5 years of experience in the grants and incentives sector.
  • You are passionate about staying up to date with the latest developments and innovations across a variety of industries.
  • You demonstrate strong client focus and possess entrepreneurial drive.
  • You are a proactive learner who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • You are intellectually curious and enjoy collaborating with clients working on cutting-edge technologies.
  • You excel in a consultancy environment and value teamwork.
  • You have excellent communication skills and enjoy building new relationships.
  • You are fluent in both English and either Dutch or French, with strong spoken and written proficiency.

This experience spans assisting companies with corporate tax compliance, dealing with the complexities of local regulations and procedures - such as communicating with local tax authorities, setting up new registrations and filing returns. Our team in Hyderabad consists of professionals dealing with Corporate Income Tax compliance, pan-European Indirect Tax compliance, Statutory Accounting and general Project Management (including Engagement Coordination and Business Development).
