You will

  • Take a key role in our Sustainability performance management team
  • Leverage on your experience in performance management and sustainability to drive conversations on critical client issues with business leaders as well as sustainability managers
  • Support our clients in a wide range of projects related to sustainability by: 
    • Having quality discussions with clients at C-suite level, demonstrating creativity combined with strong industry knowledge
    • Providing our clients a forward-looking view of the key sustainability topics affecting them and defining the right set of initiatives and projects to execute upon this strategy
    • Independently delivering engagements, including leading the approach, liaising with stakeholders, and directing activities of people on the project team. Key areas may include Finance strategy, Operating models, Finance processes, Costing and Profitability as well as how sustainability impacts them
  • Play an active role in business development activities to grow our Sustainable performance management offering :
    • Shaping the ‘sustainability team’ within Finance and Performance, leveraging skills and capabilities from across Deloitte Consulting
    • Leverage your superb interpersonal skills and remarkable business sense to support the wider team in business development and sales activities across our accounts

Let's talk about you

  • Minimum 7 years relevant professional experience in a consulting firm or a blend of consulting and industry experience
  • Expertise in finance organization, controlling activities, processes, operating models and knowledge in tools for Finance
  • Expertise in ESG, CSRD regulations, general EU sustainability policy areas
  • Communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas to all levels of an organization, and effectively lead and manage all key stakeholders
  • Ability to lead and direct large and cross-functional projects
  • Competency in business development
  • You are fluent in Dutch and/or French, as well as English (written, spoken) – all three is a strong plus
